It's been almost 7 months since I last posted on here. So much has happened I don't even know where to start. Missions, Basketball season, Life lessons, Graduations, starting College and so much more.
Cole has been out on his mission almost 9 months. He has been on Guadeloupe the whole time 2 different areas. He seems to be doing well. But how he is maturing is mind boggling. He continues to amaze me on the things he is learning and how he is able to influence not just our family but others.
Malcolm left his job of 3 years to go to work in a warehouse. He is usually working 50+ hours every week. He has big plans that I can't speak of yet. But really big things are coming.
Eve has probably had the most change the last 7 months. She finished her Senior year this year. She helped her student council achieve national recognition and receive Sweepstakes. She won prom queen. And graduated with honors in June. She was accepted to Texas A&M. I dropped her off at school a few days ago for summer session. She loves being in Aggieland. It was as if it was her destiny to be an Aggie. She swears she will talk Cole into going when he gets off his mission.
Alex well he set goals this year and did very well. He has grown several inches and worked very hard in Cross Country, Basketball and track this year. He has learned what it takes to really achieve his dreams and that it won't be all fun and games. He will be Junior class VP for next year. Such exciting things. I have also seen him grow into a very spiritual young man.
Sebastian has probably grown a foot since school started. He is now taller than Alex. He is 6'1 I think. I have watched him grow as young man between working hard to be the best he can be in basketball and becoming more spiritual grounded. He was also elected to be Sophmore class President.
I have to say as a family things have had it's ups and downs. We are learning to rely on the Lord and take our troubles to him as well. Don't get me wrong it at times takes a hit on the head to remind us. My house seems to be getting even more quiet as the days go on. First Cole leaving a huge noise maker. The kids are getting bigger and busier. Alex is gone alot between work and out playing sand volleyball. Now that I have dropped Eve off this week I know the house will change even more. I am so excited for her but to drive her to A&M and help her carry all of things up 3 flights of stairs and help her unpack some of her things. It was so hard to leave her. But what made it easier is knowing that was exactly where she is suppose to be. I had many times while I was taking her there and shopping I would start to tear up. Than on my way home I did better than I thought. It hit me today though. My little family is growing up and moving on and away.
