Good times coming

There has been good in our lives that I have to remember to write about. Alex is running Cross Country this year. First year to run and has done amazing. He runs JV and placed 6 in District. He was asked to be the 1st alternate for Varsity at Regionals. This ran into Basketball season so he was torn over his obligation to be there for his team and prepare for basketball season. I was impressed that when his basketball coach asked him to come be at practice he told him he couldn't due to the request of his Cross Country coaches. He explained that if he was involved in playoff for basketball he wouldn't leave his team to start track. The coach respected that. I was a very proud momma.

Sebastian is a freshman this year and was invited to tryout on the JV team. This is a huge thing. He will be trying out with the team with Alex. Which is good and bad. They play well together and read each other very well. So this year stands to be a good year. We will see how tryouts go but I would love to watch my boys play on the same team together again.

We have had a very interesting week. Eve has had Chicken pox this week. Seriously/??? She had them when she was like a year old. Can you believe she gets them again at 17? I have heard it happen before but maybe it is time to check on her immunity to it.

I love watching the effect on my house in the last 2 weeks. Malcolm has not missed an FHE or instute class since Cole left. He is loving it. I am thankful this was something Malcolm and Cole really got involved with before he left.

Work is getting intense. I had charged on the floor at night but day time gets crazier. I have been moved to charge at work during the day. Oh it stinks. It is crazy and makes you question your sanity at some points during the day. Not sure how much I can do that. So not looking forward to it. But it is a need to do it.
