Happy Birthday Alexander!!!

I absolutely can't believe Alex turned 16 today. It seems like yesterday that this sweet little kids was running around the house. My accident prone child that managed to have facial fractures, concussions, sprains etc. He plays so hard and doesn't think about stopping. I love it. I love his heart when he enjoys something.

I love his determination when he believes in something or someone. I love how he always wants to help someone he sees in need. He asked this year to take all the money I would spend on him to use for someone else. We decided he would adopt a lady in the nursing home and give her a comforter that she was wanting. We went to Target and he knew immediately exactly which one he wanted to buy. He was so excited to be able to do this.

I love watching him play basketball I love seeing him give it all he has. I had a mom say she couldn't believe he got up after being fouled so hard and was smiling still. He loves proving to people that he can do what they think he can't.

I love that when we leave he opens my car door. He says he is preparing himself to be a gentleman for his dates. Love it!

I learn so much from this crazy kid. I learn to smile even when it is hard. I just can't put into words how much I love this kid,
