HaPpY EaStEr!!!
Today has been pretty good. We have colored easter eggs, looked at baskets and had a great dinner with our friends next door. The younger of my kids made home movie with Angela's kids when they spent the night Friday night. So all in all I guess you could say today was a success for my family. (kids at least)
Mom called me and I don't know what is going on but this makes 3 people who have died on her side of the family in a little over a week. First her brother a week ago this last saturday. One week from that day my mom's aunt passed. Then this morning her cousin she was close to growing up passed away in her sleep. The bad thing is Aunt Violet and Brenda are mother and daughter. When it rains it pours. I am so glad my mom is moving from west Texas to move closer to all of us. I hate that she is so far away and we can't do anything when she is upset over this.
I will say this has sparked the topic of death and resurection in my children. I had forgotten that Sebastian talked about after my grandfather (Granddy passed in November) he was counting down 3 days thinking he would be back because Jesus came back. Well in my conversation with Alex today he asked the same thing about then in 3 days they will be resurected. I guess it was the perfect topic for the day.
Today was a little sad. I sat next to my sister Michelle today in Sacrament meeting thinking wow next week everything can change. We have been in the same ward along with my other sister for the last 4+ years for me and longer for them. They are redrawing boundaries and we find out this coming Sunday. How sad that will be. It very well may have us all in 3 different wards. It is good that the church is growing that we need to form a new ward but some ways I would like to be selfish. Malcolm and Cole are not happy at all they like being in YM/YW with their cousin. (Plus I think it keeps them in check someone will always spill the beans.)lol
I know that as hard as it is to change things this is where Heavenly Father wants us to be..... Can I still pout? :(
Well I need to go get ready for school tomorrow. YEAH kids go back to school. Back to normal some what I guess. Mom moves hear Thursday.... !!!!!!!!
