I took Cole to catch the plane to go to Granma's house today. She is officially moving from West Texas ( midland) tomorrow. She wanted someone to ride back to Arlington with her. Cole got to be the lucky one thanks to Cousin Rex who had an extra plane ticket.
I am always amazed at the conversations I have with Cole. He is so candid on what is going on in his life and how he feels which I totally love. I just hope he stays that way. We were talking in the car on our way to the airport and out of the blue... He will kill me for writing this but it is too cute. " Hey mom I got my first chest hair" Wow I replied what else do you say when your second born child starts to be a man? " It is on my Right pec. I ask are you sure it is still there? As he is looking down his sweatshirt. I was trying so hard not to laugh. " Yeah I think so." So I tell him very seriously.... then maybe we should get a picture before it disapears! " mom" He starts laughing.
I guess you have to understand the dynamics here. Malcolm being 2 years older he gets his rite of manhood first. So Cole is I got underarm hair ... I think it is more than Malcolm Etc. Today he informed me that he is praying that he is minimal hairy on his chest. I agreed that you definately don't want to be like an Ape. I sure hope that down the road I am not eating my words and trying to tell my son it is ok to be hairy>:)
Cole is one of my kids that want to be a doctor. I actually have 3 that want to be a doctor. Go figure. And all want to go to Harvard. OH MY GOSH! Can we say TRUST FUND! I start collections later. Anyways, Cole had a doctor appointment yesterday to see a new doctor. Dr. Gaydos. I just love her. All of my kids will now see her. Much to the dismay of Cole she is a WOMAN! Ok the story. He asked her if he was getting a shot. Most kids say NO not a shot. My Cole wants one! Can you believe that. I had to chase my 7 year old under an examing table and this one wants a shot. So she said ok he one shot that he could have if he wanted one. The nurse told him to look away it wouldn't hurt so bad. Did he? NO! He loved it!
Hey Aunt Tracy got some one to give you the shots... Cole? Just kidding.
I put him on the plane and leave which I hate. I know that everything will be fine on the plane but still. I sat there waiting for the them to load and looked across and saw a young man reading his scriptures. So of course two mormon boys on the plane and one was reading his scriptures for fun. Everything has to be cool, right? As I was leaving the parking lot of the airport sirens of what you guessed it ambulance and fire trucks come into the airport. UGGH.
He made it safe and sound to grandma's house to help her finish hauling things out.
Thank god for little boys!

That is too funny! We love Dr.Gaydos too! She really is the best, and Adam Jr. has been seeing her since he was 6 months, so he has NO problem with her being a girl. I'm glad to hear Cole made it safely too!!!!
He is too cute! If ya'll lived closer and I had to take them then I would totally let him. Maybe I will bring my testing supplies and let him test my sugar sometime! Jeffrey freaks every time I do it! Tell him thanks for taking care of Grandma!
I thought it was funny when I went in with Eve last week you could tell she had been talking to you or Veronica's mom. Because the first thing she said to me was I heard you lost someone in your family. What? Then she told me that summer had been in with Toby's mom. So I just figured everyone goes to see Dr. Gaydos and one day she will give me info on you and Adam I don't know. We definately need to talk more.:)
Yup, Dr.Gaydos sees us all!!! She does get lots of updates from my family, so I'm not surprised she knew about your uncle! I'm sure she'll have lots to tell about us, there's always something going on in my life, only you'd probably already know from reading my blogs. I'm pretty open about all my situations, as I'm sure everyone can tell, lol!!!
