Have things change or what since I last wrote on here

Have things change or what since I last wrote on here.

Malcolm graduated last year. He is working full-time. He has become quite the mechanic when it comes to his car. Unfortunately, it always breaks down. He goes out weekly with the missionaries and is really enjoying that experience. He has grown up so much in the last 6 months or so. He has become a great man. He is always so concerned about his momma and takes me to lunch quite frequently.

Cole is a junior this year. He has been concentrating on Track this year instead of football and Track. Just track. He also has been taking accounting classes and business classes. He joined DECA this year and went to state for competition. He is the Junior class treasurer He is in the middle of his track season and working to be able to get to state in hurdles. He trying to get in the top 10% of his class he currently is in the top 15%. Not bad huh.. He is such a good kid. I love the fact that he is always comfortable to bring his friends over.

Eve is a sophomore this year. She is sophomore Vice president. She is such a social person and seems to have so many friends. As I am watching her grow she is becoming such an amazing young women. She is making her way through life figuring out who she wants to be and who she is now. She is looking forward to college and figuring out her dream career. She has quite the design talent and is always trying to redesign things around the house. She is trying to improve her ranking at school to being in the top 5% in her class. She asked what I would give her if she made the top 5% in her class. She is currently in the top 12%. I hope she reaches her goal. It will cost me a trip to wherever she wants to go. But that's okay.

Alex is in 8th grade and is currently in his track season. He played football, basketball and track this year. I can't believe he will be going to high school next year. He has grown like crazy this year and wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't grow another couple inches before high school. This is the year I always seem to see such a change in my boys. He is growing up so much. He went to his first youth conference this year. And loved it. He plans on playing basketball in High School.

Sebastian is in 7th grade this year. Will be turning 13 years old soon. He is becoming the typical teenager. Phone, girls being social. He is quite the social kid. He played football and basketball this year. Tried track and just didn't like it. He is starting a select basketball team this week. Oh it is going to be busy spring/summer. Tournament twice a month. We had a long conversation regarding playing on Sundays. That was a bit difficult for him to understand. That was a bit difficult for me to figure out whether to let him make the decision or to make it for him. So thankfully, the coach is cool with him not playing on Sunday.

Life is good right now. I have been off work for an injury for a the last 3 weeks. It has been nice to be around for my kids but I sure do miss the work aspect too. Certainly torn by loving being a stay at home mom except for the fact due to my wrist injury I can't do everything I want to around the house.
