The last week.

Ok let's see if I can update on what is been going on around here the last week. We are officially moved in and half unpacked. Most of our stuff is done. Mom still has quit a bit. Oh for those who didn't know my mom and I moved in together. For multiple reasons. So will it work? It is to be seen. I am pretty set in my ways as far as I am laid back on a lot of things my mom is not. So this will definitely be an adventure.

Work is crazy. I am looking for a new job. There are alot of management issue here and I am done dealing with them. I am the only Rn full time and do alot of work. So what should be pretty flexible I am finding I do alot of paperwork at home. YUCK!

We planned the baptism which turned out better than I thought. It got a little hairy planning it and I will say I am glad it is done. I love seeing the kids in this moment of their lives but this time was just a little more stressful than it should have been. As long as Sebastian is happy that is what counts.

I have been going and visiting my Aunt Shirley at the hospital quit a bit lately. I am not getting up there as much as I would like. Last Friday when I went she was on a Ventilator and it was hard to see her that way. It was harder to see my Cousin Julia up there. They have had a rough year this year already losing their dad and now having their mom be in the hospital in the same boat. But thankfully prayers are being answered and she came off the ventilator late Saturday. She still is fighting to get better and we will just have to take it one day at a time and remember to keep everyone in our prayers.
I saw a picture of my other Aunt both in my mom's side. My aunt Judy is battling Breast and thyroid cancer. I knew she was but when I saw the picture of her beautiful bald head I cried. It was realization that it was really going on. That sounds crazy but she lives in Tennessee and not seeing her I guess it didn't really hit. My mom is really having a hard time dealing with both of them being sick. I know my Aunt Judy is having a hard time not being here with Aunt Shirley.

I am missing my friend Angela. I know I can pick up the phone anytime but it is not the same as walking next door and talking whenever we want. She came to Sebastian's baptism Sunday with her kids. I was so glad they came. We have all missed them badly. It gave us time to visit which was nice. She has been one of the best friends I have had and if it weren't bad enough not being next door anymore she is moving back to Michigan this summer. We are already trying to figure out how to see each other and our families once she moves. I know it will be good for her family. She will be able to be close to her family there. Although I told her we would adopt her here too so she could stay.:)

Lots of programs and awards ceremonies going on at school and keeping us busy. I will be so happy when school is out. Maybe it will slow down some. Until next time.
