Can we start the day over again? Like that movie with the groundhog and Bill Murry? PLEASE>
Ok it is a good thing that the house has 2 AC units. We would be severe trouble if it didn't. I came home for about 30 minutes before having to go pickup kids from school. I started for the garage to get some water and stepped in water instead. How nice in my socks and all. Luckily it was not sewer water but from the a/c. YEAH ME!
Upon further inspection I found it was dripping from the ceiling. HMM.... What is above the laundry room? So I go upstairs to check the toilet etc. I open the attic door and what do I find water in the attic floor. So I call the property management company and they tell me probably no one will be out today. Great so what do you do to get water to stop leaking and not ruin the new washer and dryer which if they got ruined I would totally cry because they are the next best thing to sliced cheese! Anyways, the repair guy called said it would be tomorrow around 9am. Told me to either turn off the a/c upstairs or go into the attic and see if I can put something under the a/c to keep it from leaking into the floor and keep it on.
Needless to say the upstairs a/c is off. And I am crazy enough to be on the computer upstairs. Of course with a big fan blowing right in my face. Maybe it is age but no a/c and sleep don't mix. On the other hand Malcolm and Cole are like no big deal we like it this way. WHATEVER!
So everyone else is headed downstairs to sleep on the sofa bed and 2 recliners.
So it is official Malcolm had his first high school band practice. WOW! No stinking way. He loved it. 3 hours of marching practice.
Another redo reason is I am still trying to find the thin line of living with my mom. How do you get the point where she knows where the boundaries is too. I have lived alone with my kids too long.
I have officially started the job search today. I had a patient while I was at her house to tell me to run from this job I am at as fast as possible. She even told me she would write a reference letter for me. Talking to her she knows more than some of do. And I heard some of the information and agreed it was definately time to leave. I hate the part about leaving the patients that are like family. I started researching opening last night and tonight I applied for I think about 10. SO wish me luck. It looks like I will be moving to nights or there is one job that is for a Hospice company being on call. It sounds really good. So we will see. Whereever the lord wants me I will happily go.
I need to go deal with my kids. TIME FOR BED!
