I have to BRAG!

I have been wanting to get on here and brag a second. So fair warning this is the mom time for bragging.
I have always been very impressed by the things my kids have been able to accomplish. Whether academic or social. But this week Eve hit her goal she set last year this time.
At Eve and Cole's school they recognize the top 16 students in their grades. This has to do with their school is Icenhower Huskies. They live by the laws of the pac. Like the sled dogs. Eve wanted so bad to make the top 16 in students (GPA). She really battled with Migraines this year and didn't think she would make it. We went for the awards ceremony (special invite) thinking it had to do with the Whiz quiz team her and Cole were on this year. One of the last awards they gave out that night was this top 16. As they called out the awards it was aphabetical and several of her friends were called then.... EVE STEWART-JOHNSON.... she didn't know what to do. She couldn't seem to hand off her papers she was holding fast enough. She was so excited and definately surprise. I am so proud of her. She worked so hard this year. And she realized how it felt to meet a big goal like this. So she stood next to her best friend on stage and had the biggest smile. We had tried everything to get her to smile when she received her award for whiz quiz and couldn't. She was biting her lip. This time she couldn't quit smiling. WOW!

Ok to brag a little on the rest. All of the kids did really well this year. Sebastian was moved up to the GT program for 3 rd grade next year. He worked really hard to do well on his work and they tested all of the 2nd grader for this class. I think he felt a little pressure he wanted to follow behind all of his siblings. He has grown so much this year and has been a great kid.

Malcolm was recognized for excellence in Language Arts. I think this child is crazy but his favorite subject in Language Arts. He kept a 100 I think all year long. Some six weeks it was over 100. I just wish he had that desire for other classes. He received superior rating in all the band competitions (solo, ensemble etc) this year.

Cole has been doing Choir this year. He received and excellence in Choir at the competitions. Cole over achieved in Social life at school. I have seen him grow into a great young man. Holding his standards high when situations would arise. I am so proud of him. He received multiple awards at school I just can't remember. (yikes)

Alex has had a very successful year too. He received awards for grades, citizenship among others. He has learned alot about being a leader. This is what I love about his school and the teachers he has had. They manage to teach them these things whether they realize it or not.

I have been truly blessed with my kids god has seen fit to bless me with. I couldn't be prouder!
