A week in our house.....

This week has been non stop running it seems. I took Mom to the airport Monday afternoon and haven't stopped since. Alex and Sebastian have cubscout camp this week. They are having so much fun. I have been taking and picking up Asa Rice (Alex best friend) all week. Last night we stopped at Sonic for a bag of ice among other things. I had Cole hand me a hand full of ice and I would quietly chunk ice at one of the boys. It was funny they just knew it was Cole.... SO while they were looking I aimed and fired over my shoulder at them with Ice. The best part they couldn't throw it back or try and put it down the back of my shirt cause I was DRIVING!!! YES! Score I won. It was just a little bit of fun.
So every night they go to camp at 5pm and I pick them up at 9:30. Good grief I am glad they are having fun but it isn't close. So on one hand I am glad there is the time frame it is so I don't have to find something to do while I wait on them.

IT IS OFFICIAL!!!!!
I will start picking up extra hours at the hospital next week. The week of the 7th of July I will be at 16 hours every week extra. So if it all goes as planned we can have the money saved for school clothes/supplies by the first week in August. YEAH!!!!

After I took the boys to camp tonight Eve and I were killing time before she went to a birthday party for her friend at Alley Cats. So she decided she really wanted Cafe cookies before they close tomorrow for good. Heartland Cafe has been a vital part of my kids lives for a long time. Sebastian used to shelf chips when he was in Pre-k he said he was working and they would give him a bag of chips. Michelle (my sister) worked there and also watched my kids after school when I was in nursing school. I do think there was even one day when one of my little people were sick and they laid in the office while she worked. Chelle was so great to have and the Warren's too. I have spent many a morning in there talking to my sister while she prep for the day. It gave us an opportunity to have adult conversation without the kids coming in and out or listening to the conversations. Yes we have some that do that! I have to be real careful when I am on the phone because later that day or another day someone will ask me about a conversation. I am WHAT! So I am ducking and hiding when I need to talk the important stuff and them not hear.
Anyways, back to my story. Eve asked what the Warren family were going to do without the cafe for money? I told her I don't know. She asked if we could pray for them and Aunt Michelle and all the employees to find new jobs and money. I don't think I would have thought of that at 11yrs old. Then we decided we would add Grandma. She then goes on and says can I write it down? When she prays sometimes she gets distracted by things around her and she says she repeats herself. This way she will remember everyone and what they need. How sweet.... Something must be going right for her to be so perceptive to know that these families could use this. I was so PROUD of her.

I am back home for a couple of hours before starting my rounds of picking up everyone and going to go into the jungle and weed the flower beds. Something happened out there. Some how grass seed got into the floor bed and mixed with the organic soil with plant food in it for my flowers the grass decided to use it. UGH!!!!
Off I go.
