This week!

This week has been kinda crazy. End of school , work etc. Plus add to all of this health issues. I don't know if I was bit or what but develop a pretty nasty place that I have been dealing with. Now several weeks later now being on antibiotics and Vicodin I hope it is solved. I had to go to the doctor for her to cut open up the spot.
This is how the visit went. You will feel a little stick.... now a little sting. Are you kidding me little sting.. no stinking way! That lidocain hurt worse than the needle. Why since I have become a nurse I have issues with things like this is beyond me. But oh heavens. Even after numbing the sight I wanted to scream. But determined to keep my dignity. I would puff out my cheeks. Not to hold my breath but Doctor Gaydos and her nurse would say don't hold your breath we don't want you to pass out. I am not but it hurts. Are you ok. As she cuts it open. Yeah. Do you need more lidocain. NO just finish. Then she packed it. Heavens to bessie! I pack wounds all the time I could do it with my eyes closed. But I never realized how much it hurt. My poor patients. I even took a vicodin before I came. That the doctor said I was being a good nurse. Hell I am not crazy I would of taken more if I didn't have to drive. All this happens the day before I take my girl scout troop to Great wolf lodge. So now I will be sitting and watching everyone having fun. I came home to a short very short nap and got up to see several patients. Went into the office and said I will not be working tomorrow So I can take more medicine.

School is officially out and it has already started can I go... can he spend the night... the phone ringing like crazy. But at least I don't have to wake people up to go to school. That will happen soon enough. Summer started off good. House was cleaned to today top to bottom. It had been neglected some since I had been so busy.
We finally chose jobs. I do have to say I was shocked at Cole. They all chose their jobs for the summer. He chose to do all the laundry, clean the entry and take out trash. Plus he is responsible for mowing the back yard. I laughed do you know how much Laundry we have?
He realized it today when he was doing laundry. But mom (grandma) went and bought basket they put everyone's name on them and they sit in the laundry room. He folds the cloths and puts them in the baskets then everyone is responsible for putting up their laundry. It worked really good> GOOD Job Grandma!

Adam, Sonia, Adam jr, Avery and Aidan came over for dinner tonight since they are in town looking for a house. We had so much fun. Adam sr. got to embarrass Cole with one of his friends that is a girl. Cole doesn't get embarrassed he was upstairs talking on the phone came downstairs sat at the table with everyone already there and was talking and eating a brownie. Adam started messing with him. He couldn't stop laughing.
We played charades? I don't know if I spelled that right or not. I don't think my kids ever played before. But watching the kids act out different family members was too funny. They had Adam sr., Pa Wynne, Grandma. I did one for pa wynne combing his hair and they all thought it was Adam sr or Cole. Must run in the family. Checking the hair as soon as they walk in the building. We had a blast. Next time we will have to have everyone over. I did have to laugh cause Adam asked the boys who their favorite uncle was and they didn't say him. He was like what? I told him he needed to goof off with them this summer. It was nice to see him relax and just enjoy things instead of worrying about work. Thanks Adam.
They went back to their hotel and there is just this peace in the house. It was just a nice family night with no tv/video games etc.
Avery and Aidan were too cute. Hey other family members we didn't leave you out. Mom wanted to have some one on one time with Adam and his family.

We found some amazing shopping deals this week too. I took the kids shopping for a couple of things to get summer started. The first night I took Cole/Eve to Macy's thinking I could find some deals there. I know never to take Cole in there they have too many expensive clothes and Cole gravitates to them. Then last night Malcolm and I hit the big time. He got 2 pairs of jeans, swim suit, 3 shirts and a pair of shorts, Eve shorts, then 2 pairs of shorts and 2 shirts for the little boys for less than $130. WOW ! I just love bargains.
I have now been typing too long I am feeling it so off to take the pain meds till next time.
