Just another day!

You know your officially too caught up in blogging when you hear your kids say something and you think I have to put that on the blog. Then you forget what they said and you drive yourself crazy trying to remember. UGH!!!

I have been put on call the last 2 nights I was suppose to be working at the hospital. I don't know if that is good or bad. I have been praying alot to know what to do with my jobs. Should I stay where I am? Go back to the hospital fulltime/parttime? All I know is I am sooo tired of working 2 jobs. And here I am thinking about working at night on the weekends and keeping my fulltime job I have now during the week. AM I CRAZY? Yes I know I am always have been. But seriously, yesterday afternoon before I laid down to take a nap to go to work last night. I got down and prayed that he would help me figure things out. Help things work out both financially and keep my health up. I get up yesterday afternoon to cook dinner and while I am cooking I get a call from work putting me on call. Same thing happened today. I was relieved yet really needed to be working. But I also think God had a hand in it as well. I have been fighting getting sick. I haven't even been getting out of bed until 9am. Sometimes later just trying to catch up on sleep and try and feel better. So all I can do is leave it to him to take care of things.

I started something yesterday with my kids. When I got up instead of going and cooking dinner myself I have pulled all of my boys downstairs to help me cook. I would have pulled Eve today but she was sick. I gave each one an assignment (unload dishwasher, set the table etc.) Yesterday Sebastian wanted to help me cook. We cooked baked chicken, cook some in the skillet with soy sauce mixture I do and he made Macoroni and Cheese, crescent rolls, and a vegatable I can't remember what! He was so proud of himself. Then tonight Alex wanted to help. He helped me make Jumbulayia (sp) with sausage and Sebastian not wanting to eat that made Mac and cheese again.
They also helped make a cake/cupcakes.

I had to laugh I now know the one meal to make if I don't want mom to eat with us!!!!
She walks in with Eve and the first thing out of her mouth is What are you cooking Alex so excited yelled it out. Mom leaned over the bar and said I AM NOT EATING! I just looked at her. I am so confused I don't think I have ever heard her say that. She is usually more polite. I could have sworn I was raised you eat what is served whether you like it or not. {Smile} Could she really be saying this. Yes she was serious. She says I don't like that. I don't cook it the way most do I don't make any kind of fish in my house so it basicly is spicy rice and sausage in it. It is however very good! She was so SERIOUS!!!!! I give her props for trying a bite. It was too spicy for her she sat with Sebastian and ate Mac and cheese instead. :) Which was fine for the other kids it left more for them. This was the quietest dinner we have had in a long time.....
Sebastian explained tonight that he will be cooking Mac and Cheese for his kids one day. He explained to all his brothers how to make it as he made it tonight. He is pretty good. Hopefully he won't go and try and cook it with out my help.

Tonight I finally got a opportunity to sit down with Alex and Sebastian and work on their cub scouts. They ask me everyday. So we sat down and Sebastian did all the rolls, hops etc. Alex had to call or talk to someone about what it was like to be in cubscouts along time ago!;) So guess who he called.... UNCLE TAYLOR> Yes Uncle Taylor didn't think it was that long ago. I thought it was quite hillarious even though it wasn't that long ago he couldn't remember alot of things he was asking him to remember. Sorry Taylor 23 is old for a 9 year old. :) One of Sebastian's den leaders is actually the daughter in law of the Annabell Qualls who was Taylor's den leader. Small world. They both are just as wonderful as could be. Suzy is great too. Well I guess while I am talking we are very lucky Alex has a good couple too. The FISHER's are great as well.
I know tonight has been not so interesting but more to do with journaling than blogging.I do have some good stories to list I am trying to get the pictures to go with it on my computer. JUST WAIT AND SEE!
