Today was Sebastian's Birthday celebration with his friend Trapper. We went with Trapper,Kim, Kelsi, and Kori (Trapper's mom and sisters) to Alley Cats to play laser tag and video games then on to Rainforest Cafe.
On our way to pick them up Sebastian decided that the teams would be Kori, Trapper and himself. Because they are the "ATHLETES". Whatever... is what I told him and then told him we would kick his butt...So it left Kelsi, Kim and myself on a team. Well technically it was the blue team and red team Sebastian and his team were on the red and we were blue. Total of 20 to 30 people or so. It was sooo much fun. So everyone races to the score board to see what place you are. Well Sebastian had no clue and ran off to play games. Well for an old lady with not being an athlete anymore I came in 5 place, Kori 4th not tooo shabby. huh.
Sebastian gave Kelsi a new name he accidently called her Grandma. Which is crazy since she is 17. So the rest of the night he called her grandma Kelsi. But the part that just made Sebastian's eyes wide was when we walked into the Rainforest Cafe to sit down and eat. He loved all the noises etc. Oh and the balloon guy. We ended up with a Monkey for Sebastian, Trapper a tiger, Kelsi a alligator, Kori a giraffe , Kim a frog, and myself a dragon fly. We lost the monkey's body before the end of dinner.
These girls remind me of my kids alot. Just spastic at times and goofy. On the way out of the restuarant Kori was taking her giraffe and putting it to the fish tank and saying hello. hello. The whole line waiting to get in was just looking at her like she was crazy. Kim and I were laughing so hard. Kori informed Kim that she made her that way for talking to the dogs like that. Evidently she howls at the dogs so Kori thought that was the same thing. She is such a cute girl.
Those girls were just too cute and funny. Sebastian and Trapper had a lot of fun with the balloons and the crazy ride in the car. Lets just say the food didn't settle good with all people in the car. You would have thought that one of the girls was one of my boys the way her and Sebastian were exchanging gas issues..And both laughing about it.
Poor Grandma Kelsi we teased her about him calling her that. She was such a good sport. But I really think that will be her knew nickname. I was glad they all went with us. I needed the break from everyday things and it was great to see Sebastian having so much fun. Ok yeah they would start playing the music and he would start to dance with the sounds of animals but Kim would start to and he would stop look at her like she was the one that was wrong for doing it then start again as soon as she stopped. Then when they sang to him for his birthday he just stood there. WHAT! Where is the dancing child.
Ok if you ever go there you have to try the VOLCANO DESSERT> HMMM heavenly. and all 6 of us ate it. Well I am glad they went with us. I guess this was a dual celebration. Kori had wanted to go there for her 16th and they hadn't gone yet. SO Happy 16th girl..
Side note... when we were at Alley Cats one of the workers bought Kelsi a game. A 7 pointer game. SO from here on out she is a 7 pointer.... that was a joke for the night. Instead of her being old enough a guy buys her a drink he bought her time on a game at the arcade.
