I haven't been able to get on her and write due to my children being on the computer all the stinkin time.. They are social butterflies they are..Something I wish I would have been more of when I was growing up.
Let's see where to catch up first. We only have 5 count them 5 days till school is out. I will be so glad. Except it only starts a busy summer for everyone. Little did I know that as you have kids turn into teenagers you get crazy things going on during summer. No more relaxing in summer.
Malcolm and Cole are going on a high adventure trip with 5th ward to Nauvoo. How fun is that. They will even do baptism for the dead in the temple along their trip. That same week Eve and I go to Girls camp.. keeping my fingers crossed for not so hot weather that week.. This year my sister Stephanie will be going as well should be fun.We have our Wynne family reunion we are going to in Lubbock this year. Room booked and everything. oh yeah during all of summer Cole has football training. Which picks up to 2 a days at the end of summer about the same time Malcolm's band camp starts all day practices. "Seriously" Malcolm and Cole both have EFY in San Antonio in July again this year. During the trip to pick them up I am planning on dragging the other kids to get them and spending the day at Sea World.
August I am going with Stephanie to a Tupperware convention in Orlando at Disney World. (ok a little conflicted on this one that I can't take my kids)
Let's see what did I leave out.. Oh Alex will be doing Blazer camp the same week Malcolm, Cole, Eve and myself are gone. Which leaves Sebastian at football camp that week.
Just trying to find time to spend at work or family time shall be interesting. And somewhere in there my ex is wanting to take Eve, Cole, and Alex to Utah to meet his new wife's family. He in no certain terms told me that this trip to meet her family is more important than a family reunion.. hmm still trying to figure this one out.
Cole has received commended all all of his TAKS test this year. Eve has on her Writing and REading. I haven't heard anything on the rest of the scores yet. They tend to wait till the end of school to let you know.
Eve had her choir concert and awards ceremony tonight. I enjoyed watching and listening to her sing. I am amazed at how laid back her teacher is. The kids all love her I think that is why. They did awards at the end and also officers for next year. Eve was placed as President of Choir next year. Hmmm..could it have anything to do with all her talking she does that this was a class vote. That and all her 8th grade friends. I am excited for her. I think it will be a big challenge and experience for her. As long as it doesn't go to her head...:)
I have started the HCG diet this last week. Man it is not easy to stick to. But I am determined to make it work. I have cheated a little which I got to whip my butt in gear and stick too it. I have lost 11 1/2 lbs in a little over a week. I am hoping this is what I need to get me started and healthier.
Tonight a friend let me know that a co-worker passed this week. She had been out due to back problems from our job. She was only 44. I am so blown away. But it is a bigger influence to keep at this diet thing and lose it. Like I said it is my year to be skinny... Well at least healthy..
