long week

This week feels like it has lasted forever!When I say forever I mean eternity.I was so drained mentally and physically that it is insane. Today was better by midday. I was able to slow down. I will post about the fun at the Valentine's dance with Alex and Sebastian later. What a great time.

I went to see one of my patients today. I just absolutely love her to death. She and I just clicked. I can't explain it. She told me this the other day. I so agree. I love visiting with her. We both talk about so much and at one point or another tears swell up in one of our eyes. She's had a hard pull lately with her health and I think she just enjoys having someone to talk to that is not her daughter. To keep from burdening her anymore. I was suppose to go see her yesterday and ran out of time so I called and asked to see her today. When I got there she was excited to see me. She said that she had bought me something for Valentines day along with my kids. She bought the kids cupcakes and me a balloon and some stationary and a pen. It was so sweet. She and I had a good visit, she gives me lots of advice about life and being a single mom. She actually told me to enjoy life and don't get remarried. She did after she was a widow. She is still married but I can't quite figure those dynamics out. I was so touched for her sweet gesture to take the time to get myself and my family something.

Eve was a bit giggly tonight. She went babysitting tonight and came home in time for her to ride with me to get Malcolm from the dance. Well Malcolm hugged some girl and she was ohhh you hugged a girl... all the way home she teased him. She made her way into the house and everything was funny. At one point she was bent over the table laughing so hard she fell on the floor. We have no clue what was so dang funny. But I remember as a teenager doing the same thing to my mom when we would come in from the dances. Stephanie and I would just laugh and laugh for nothing. Wow to be young again.

Lots more happened this week but I am too tired and have a migraine to type anything else.
