I know I can't do this story justice. Early this morning Sebastian came into my room saying he had a nightmare and didn't want to go back to sleep and asked me to get up with him. HA! That is funny since it was about 2:30 and I didn't get in bed until 1:30 to 2 am. So I convinced him to just lay in my bed. I then had to deal with him laying so close to me that I couldn't sleep. Yeah me.
So tonight he was telling me what his nightmare was about. If you ever wonder what a 8 year old is afraid of here it is.....
This is how the conversation went..
Mom do you know what scared me so bad? No honey. What?
A girl! This girl was sooooo tall, she had skinny legs and big feet.
You and Eve left me in the dark and that is when she struck. She was so Evil! When you went to the bathroom and Eve answered the phone call from Jasmin and it was only 4am.
Eve likes to talk. This girl came out from under my bed.
She did several flips landed on my bed and kicked me in the balls....
Oh I bet that hurt.
Yes it did and she was Evil....
I said it sounds like the girl is from the commercial from Monsters meet Aliens yesterday in 3d.
No mom her legs weren't as skinny as the girl in my nightmare. Then She went away and I yelled for Eve and told her someone was in here she said yeah right adn kept on talking. Then you came out of the bathroom and I told you someone was in here and you said no you didn't see anyone. Of course you didn't she went back under my bed.
Then it was daylight and I went to the Ymca.....
The story continued like one of those never ending stories. Cole would ask him questions along the way and it just made me want to laugh. Because he was so serious about it and Cole was acting interested but trying to see how far the story would go.
It was too cute. But I figured he was probably having nightmares over the girl in his class that stole his library book and hid it in his class and she refuses to give it to him. And all he kept saying was she was EVIL! Just like his story.
Too cute. Cole named his girl from his nightmare the daughter of the boogie man.
I just kept thinking of about Monsters Inc. movie and the monsters who climb through the closet door and leave after they scare the kid.
