We had a busy day today. I saw a couple of patients. Sebastian played his basketball game. Alex sulked since I wouldn't let him play. Please the child was running a fever of 104.6 when I put him to bed last night at 10 pm. It had broken but I wanted to make sure he was well. We cleaned house, hit Home depot for a couple of things.
I went into Home depot with 4 boys. Yeah and it was suppose to be quick. I can already tell we need to spend saturdays in there just for entertainment purposes. They had ideas on how to do this and that. We picked out a cool cordless drill/driver. I was excited. I can hang my curtains with ease. YES! Filter, and if I would have let them everything else on the tool aisle. Crazy. They are serious boys...
I picked up Eve from her Friend Jasmin house. She had a lot of fun. I am so glad. Eve doesn't loosen up with people real often. She has lots of friends but when it comes to being close she holds back. So I am glad to see her and Jasmin getting to be really good friends. Jasmin is a good kid too. Eve just loved hanging out with her mom and sisters too. They went to the library and to Coldstone.
The price we pay for trying to look beautiful.. One word WAXING! Not your car but your eyebrows, lips whatever your pleasure. We did have entertainment the girl before us was getting her eyebrows waxed and it was all we could do not to bust out laughing. She was OUCH!! Not quietly, not once but every time the poor worker would pull the wax off. Hehehehe. It was too funny not her hurting but how over board she was. Then Eve gets in there and the woman is so worried about hurting Eve when she waxes her eyebrows. Eve took it so much better than the one before.
I never realized that sales man at mattress stores will haggle a good price for you if you ask. Hmmm it certainly helped that he came from a big family and he found out I had 5 kids. Yes score one for the crazy mom with 5 kids. I didn't even have to ask really. He just asked after I found mattress I like what my budget was. I think he could see that I was debating buying or not. He got them in the price I needed them to be. If you need a good mattress call me I know a guy and have a $50 off card you can use.
It was funny watching Malcolm and Cole and Eve get so excited over testing the mattresses. You know normally I would be get up now! But if I am buying several I figured we could test them out. Although that totally makes me uncomfortable laying on a mattress in the middle of the store.
I took Mom and Sebastian and Alex out to eat tonight. The older kids were helping Dalton with a project for school. While we were waiting on food I responded to a comment Sebastian made by saying your on a double date isn't that good enough for you. So the joke was Alex was on a date with Grandma and Sebastian one with me... To listen to them Especially Alex get embarassed. It was too sweet. But then the conversation went onto Alex what would you rather a date with mom or Dr. Pepper... (sebastian asked the question) Alex responds... Is it free unlimited refills? Sebastian says yes... Alex... Dr Pepper of course. Gee thanks sweetie.
Well its late and church comes early. nite
