Me: " I don't know."
" Mine is Lubbock."
This confuses me a little.
" Really Why?"
"I don't know it just is. Granddy is there."
"Yeah that is a nice place." I smile.
Reality hit me that he thought it was a nice place because that is where in his little heart he saw his Granddy last. I can't explain the connection my kids had especially the 2 younger ones with my Grandfather their Great Grandfather. Even though their time with him was short they developed a bond so close.
You often wonder where 8 year olds come up with things. He had just finished a busy day at school and we were rushing off to my office but Granddy was on his mind.
How special he must be to Sebastian. I never realized the depth.
