Everyone always said that your life becomes even crazier when you have teenagers. Boy have I figured that one out around here. And they don't even drive or date yet.OH boy!
I will give you a quick run down of the last couple of days and you can see what I mean.
Friday of course was football/band night. Picked up Malcolm from school fed him left him and ran and picked up Alex and Sebastian from school. Get home try and get the night organized etc. Take Malcolm back to school by 4:30 we leave the house so he can be ready by 5 for uniform check. Come home pick up Cole to take him to a camp out.So we have to meet at the stake center. We have to 2 around 2 times. First he forgot his water bottle then the second time we got all the way there I turn around and look at his stuff Cole where is your sleeping bag? Oh yeah I forgot it. Now this is my child that is very detailed when packing for camp outs. (hopefully this isn't a sign of teenagers)We go home get back to the church at 5:45pm. Wait around to make sure all is well. 6pm head to the Parks Mall. Now I hate going to the mall on a weekend night. It seems like it brings out all the crazy people. But I had promised I would go pickup cologne for Malcolm with his birthday money that morning and forgot(not really just got busy) Oh, yeah thanks Pa Wynne and Kim for the money for the cologne. Can't have a stinky boy...By the time I park go in buy it and leave it is 6:45. I get home to pick up Eve, Alex and Sebastian for the football game close to 7Pm. We were suppose to be there at 7pm. Malcolm was performing before the game since it was homecoming. So better late than never. We made it by kickoff. Bad thing is I hadn't feed the children.Hmmm... Nachos it is!Ok let me say I love watching football but this game was torture. Man pure torture. Alex is sitting next to me and Sebastian as well. Eve has ran off to sit with a friend.(eventually I will be sitting by myself)Alex and Sebastian are so mad about the way they are playing. This is the conversation of part of the game....
Alex: RUN GUYS! Can't ya'll see the big giant hole?
Ladies behind us snickering
Sebastian: If I was out there then they wouldn't be getting by me...
Me: Sebastian aren't they alot bigger than you? Wouldn't that be hard?
Sebastian: NO, I play with Dalton.. I can get by them.
He probably could especially the way they were playing. Heck I could have ran up the hole they left in the middle every play.:)
We had a couple of ladies behind us just laughing so hard at the boys. There comment after alex statement to run. "Can we borrow him and take him down there to coach the guys and yell at them to run?"
Later at toward the end Sebastian says" I think I am going to cry"(being sarcastic)
Lady behind us" Honey it's too late to cry we are done for"
Boy was she right.
In the last quarter the boys were analyzing everything the team wasn't doing right.
Alex: They need to quit running the ball since they can't run and throw it"
Another lady in front of us this time " Thank you even a 7 year old knows more than these coaches."
With that Alex looks at me and it was all I could do not to laugh. Since he is turning 10 in December. I swear he is one of the taller boys in 4th too.
Needless to say we got stomped for homecoming. But why pick a team that is good to play for homecoming. Arlington High is now tied with Bowie for 1st. Which is totally amazing that Bowie is in 1st. When I graduated from there in 93' we barely one any games. Pretty sad...
The final score I think was 56 to 26. I thought for sure they would be in the 70's when the second half started. But Defense finally picked it up.
Ok after the game we go get Malcolm from school bring him home and try and sleep. Saturday was just as busy. Malcolm had band competitions in HEB. He had to be a the school that morning and I needed to get paperwork done. So I sat and worked on that for a couple of hours and decided I really wanted to go watch him. SO at 1:45 I headed to the competition. Stayed until finals were announced and headed home. I think they had a hard time because last week they blew away the competition this week they found there match.
Came home started to lay down to sleep for the night shift and Cole calls hey mom be at the church at 6:30. It was 5:30. So much for a nap. I laid down for 30 minutes. Went and picked up Cole went to the store headed home by this time it was after 7pm. Headed to Malcolm's Finals and Stayed there until 10pm waiting for the results. They placed 3rd in 14 bands. Not bad... Then headed to work on little sleep only to hit a mass chaos at work. After I went to work Mom(grandma) picked up the slack and picked up Malcolm and took him back to school for a Halloween lock in for Band. Then got up to pick him up this morning at 7am. I know she was tired cause she is never in bed early and tonight she is. Thank heavens for Grandmas.
This morning I left work at 9am. I got off at 7am. Paperwork. Problems, doctors calls etc. kept me there. Came home slept until time to go to church. We left the house at 12:40. So little sleep I am....
Started my new calling today. It is so different being in Young women's. I still don't know very many girls in this ward compared to 5th ward before the changes. SO I have lots to do and girls to meet. I like it though. Oh yeah I am personal progress leader. Hmm yes me... Here I am with my life such chaos and I have to organize this program. I think it will be great..I am really excited. The program is fairly small especially when I think about when I was in young women's. Eve's beehive class she will be going into only has 3 girls right now her and Molly will make 5 next month.
This afternoon I came home and slept some more only to wake with a massive migraine.I was suppose to work tonight too but couldn't do it. Needed the vicodin tonight. Me and lack of sleep don't mix. I can handle sleeping only 4 hours a night if it is at night. The flip flop schedule kills me.
Tomorrow starts a new day with at 4:15 am to wake Malcolm for seminary.. YEAH ME!
At least he doesn't fight me getting up. He is a heavy sleeper anyways there for Alarm clocks don't wake him. Any ideas?
Don't get me wrong. It has been a busy last couple of days but I enjoy the chaos to a degree. I was just thinking about how in the next couple of months it will be getting crazier. With Gymnastics, music lessons etc starting. Wow maybe I need to be better in writing in my scheduler... What ya think?
