EARTHQUAKES IN TEXAS REALLY?
Ok I heard this story this morning about people in the Irving area feeling Earthquakes. Really... Come on that is why we don't live in California right? The weather is alot nicer there but who wants to live in a state that eventually will fall off the map due to an earthquake.:)
No big deal really except to my Eve... As hard as I try she is a worry wart... Seriously she is the girl that the glass is half empty when it comes to things like that. So I had kept her away from it all day and night. But as soon as we walk in tonight from Trick or treating the news is on and talking about the earthquake.
Eve; WE have to move.
Me; it is fine Eve is was no more than a truck passing by just a small trimble. (seriously we get stronger winds that shake houses more than this thing did.)
Eve: no it is bad... We aren't suppose to have earthquakes.
Me; things are fine...
She eventually walks off freaked out about the whole idea of earthquakes... We had this conversation or similar when my mom picked up information handed out in sunday school about what to do in Earthquakes. You ask why do they hand it out in Texas... I guess now we know.
