Yes we are still around.....

Wow, it has been a long while since I had a chance to sit and just blog. I have other things to do now but figured I would take a minute and update on our lives goings on.
I now realize why I blogged so much. I have the worst memory. Let's see what have we done since the 4th of October? hmmm

Things here have been super busy. Malcolm went back to school completed his full week back after the hospital. Yeah. Only a couple of heart problems. He worked really hard and completed all of his make-up work by Friday of that week. I was well impressed that he got it all done.
Malcolm had Marching band competition in Aledo this last Saturday. I took the kids and went and watched his performance. They did great. Made it to the finals. I ran home took the kids home and showered and changed into my scrubs for work and went back to watch his schools performance for the finals. They did wonderful. I am blown away that all of the kids have that much talent. To march, go in circles, kneel. Even one band did the Thriller dance(michael jackson). Too cool. I had to leave before they announced the winners. He text me to let me know that they WON! He was so excited. They took it all home.... GO JAGS! That was so cool for him to experience the high of winning in his first competition in High School.

Cole has been working hard with Football. He had an off week last week so they just practiced all week. School went well for him this last six weeks.

Eve staying busy with school projects. She did good with grades too. But she is not happy with them. She is such a perfectionist.

Alex was busy doing his Reflections project. He did photography and literature. I took him to go get pictures of the sunset for his project. Subject WOW! He did a really good job with his pictures.

Sebastian was busy with the same project as Alex. He did drawing. He drew a picture of a typical stormy day in Texas. With lighting and a Tornado. He did great.

Myself work work work. Between picking up extra shifts at the hospital and keeping up with all the projects and activities I am busier than ever. I am not sure why I do it to myself. But the extra money is much needed for now. Hopefully that won't be a reality in the future. Today was a holiday and thank goodness. I worked until 3am or so this morning. I over slept this morning missing the teacher/parent meeting and not going to the doctors appointment we had. UGH! But man the sleep was good.

My niece and Nephews came over to play this afternoon. We have really enjoyed them being back from Houston. Avery and Aidan loved the puzzles and hanging out with the big kids. Eve was so cute with Avery and Aidan. By the end of the day Avery had Eve wrapped around her finger. Painted nails and all. I think Eve loves it. It's the sister she doesn't have. And keeps me from having another one.;)
I love watching my kids with the little ones. Cole had been doing his homework and he saw Aidan playing with the trucks while the big kids went off to play. Cole got down on the floor and played with Aidan. You could hear him talking to Aidan about what the cars were doing and the guys they were playing with. My heart melted. He will be such a good dad. Let's just wait a while.:)
Alex and Sebastian loved having Adam jr. around. The three of them put together a music concert for us. It was too funny. It was a rap about being on the street with their hogs... I asked them did they mean the oink oink animal or the motorcycle. They said the motorcyle. Actually sebastain said both.lol. I didn't realize the boys knew what a hog was. Then I remembered our rided home from the band competition Saturday. There were some stupid people on motorcycles doing wheelee (sp) all the way down I-20. From out into Aledo into Fort worth. Then they came upon a guy riding an true motorcyle (hog)Harley. You could see him just looking at these guys. We could see all of this because the guys being stupid were holding up traffic and we were right behind them trying not to hit them if they fell.... Then the hog sped past them between cars to get away from them. ( oh by the way saw the same stupid guy doing the same trick going up 287 today. ) Anyways, after the boys performance Eve and Avery performed Barbie girl. Well kinda they were laughing so the boys got up there and took over for them. TOO CUTE! Aunt Sonia, grandma and myself got VIP seating. Aren't they sweet.
I guess that is really the over all picture of life here. Oh yeah I got a new calling at church. Personal progress. So I am in Young Women now. Yeah! I am so excited. Especially since Eve will be in there in November.
With all the crazyiness in our life I am trying to remember to have some fun with them too. So I was glad the kids did the performance for everyone. We definately have to get the Wynne kids over here more... We always love when they visit.

I have had several people asking about updates on Malcolm to be put on here.He will have his heart Ablation done November 14th. He will stay over night on the 14th and if all goes well he will go home on the 15th. He will be limited for a short time on lifting etc. But will be able to be back at school the Monday after. So he will only miss 1 1/2 days of school. He has had a couple of problems but nothing to severe. He also has said he will not be going back to the hospital until he has his procedure. So I just watch him. If he doesn't come out after a long period I will take him to the ER. But for now I just want him to enjoy life. He is very much doing that.

I can't thank you guys enough for keeping the kids. They had a blast, and Adam Jr. is really having a great time hanging out with his cousins. I'm glad to see they get to see eachother more now! I just have to keep it up, although I'll try to take them when I'm not sick so I can hang-out too. Especially if we continue to get VIP treatment at the concerts, lol!
