Busy Busy

I have so badly wanted to write about everything that has been happening this week at our house. Well as you can see that didn't happen. Figures... I just need to carry a laptop with internet every where I go. Then what?

I would miss everything around me I guess.By the way I do see those people on days.

Ok this so may be backwards but I will start with today. I was able to go have lunch with my friend Angela. She has been my sanity especially when we both lived in the apartments next door to each other. She took me out for my birthday. That is how crazy both are lives have become that we do it almost 3 weeks later and week before her birthday. She graciously pointed out that we are the same age today. She turns one year older in a couple of days. So I let her have her glory.lol No really you would never guess she was older than me actually quite the opposite. It was a lot of fun catching up. It stunk we couldn't talk for hours.

Now where to start? Oh well Malcolm is home from school again after a trip to the ER last night thanks to Grandma since I was working. He has been having problems all week long and I was totally getting blown off. But that is another story. So I follow the directions I get and he still hurts bad. So the nurse says I can give him tylenol or advil. I only have advil in pill form. So that is what he gets. Have you ever tried to get a child old enough to swollow pills to take liquid. Yeah not going to happen. They kept him for all about 45 minutes I guess. He had been having swelling around the cath site and coolness in his legs etc. So the nurse last night from the cardiologist said send him home. Ok so he is now on bedrest until we here from his own cardiologist. I was really hoping to have this all over with.I should realize by now my family does nothing the easy way. We like it that way.
Still waiting on the doctor. I finally just called him. They said wait until 2pm if haven't heard from the office call them. So 2:01pm I am calling. :0

I have been working extra shifts this week. Which is ok but my day job seems to have other ideas in mind. We have been super busy at the hospital and in home health.
I took Alex to the doctor with me on Wednesday. He has been complaining for almost a month of hurting to the bone in his muscles. So I finally decided I needed to check it out to ease my mind and his. They did blood work to check for arthritis,etc. They called me today everything is good. YEAH!! Poor child is just going to have bad growing pains and which means he will be growing soon....

Christmas has escaped the boxes at our house. Since my brother and sister in law and neice arrive in town on Saturday and we are going to have a nice christmas get together with everyone. (can't wait!!!!) We wanted to have our house decorated since it will be here. I decided to just let mom do it. She good at decorating and to be honest too many hands in the christmas boxes doesn't always go well. So my house now looks like a hurricane came and dropped christmas decorations in the front room. I asked if it would be done by the time my visiting teachers come tomorrow. Sure she says. Hmmm we will see. I don't think so. ;)

Eve my little girl turns 12 Sunday.. Can you believe it I just can't. I mean when I look at her I can so see it. But remembering when she was born and now looking at her now. I found some cool finds for her birthday. We have talked before about her having a mirror in her room. I found the coolest one. Needs some tlc but it is a wonderful full length Brass mirror on the pedestal feet. I know she will love it. Her room may be a little cramped once it get in there but I think she will like it.I found it at a yard sale for $3.Cool huh.
I also found my neighbor same sale was giving away/selling a big rug for $1. Can you stinking believe it. I will run the shampooer over it and bing bang add some color to the den. Perfect....
I am letting Alex and Sebastian decorate the upstairs gameroom/ their bedroom with my/our christmas stuff since Grandma is using hers downstairs. They were so excited to get started. Hanging wreaths made of ribbon with old peppermints on them. You know the ones. It is a school craft... Arguing over whos it is...Hmm no name all have made one. :)
I have so much to do around here. Laundry, cleaning, paperwork. But I just want to sit down and cuddle up with my kids and watch a movie. It is getting cold out again like it does every couple of days. Shoots down into the 40-50's and up into the high 60. When my kids were young we had movie night. We had a sectional couch that folded out into a bed and recliners on each side of it. We would pull it out and everyone would lay on it and watch the movie. We continued this for a long time. It seems as though you let time pass with busy schedule and don't always take that time anymore.
There was one year that we kept loosing the heat in our apartment. I don't know what the apartment was doing. But our heater went out and they told me they couldn't fix it for several days. It wasn't priority. Whatever. Sebastian was a baby. So I closed all the doors,pulled out the couch bed blankets and started a fire in the fire place. It was still cold but not too bad as long as you didn't get up to walk around. I can't even imagine what people did without heaters. There is a reason for me to born now. Modern conveniences.

The nurse just called. Said that sometimes some kids take longer to recover and he is just one of them. He just needs to take it easy and keep on truckin.... No she didn't say that but you know what I mean.

Oh yeah I almost forgot Sebastian received his WOLFE Tuesday night. He had earned it months ago. But we hadn't been at pack meeting. GO Little Man!!!! He was so excited .I wish I would of had a camera.
