What a week...

Thanksgiving week has been just crazy.Thanksgiving itself was good we went to my dads house and everyone was able to be there with the exception of my brother in law Rich and sister in law Sonia and nephew Adam jr. They were feeling under the weather.
Food was good the little I ate and all the kids had a lot of fun visiting and playing. My dad's house backs up to a park and they have a gate in there back that opens straight to the park so it made easy access to the park for the kids and grownups.

The kids loved playing guitar hero and it was funny watching which ones could pick it up and the others that just took a little longer. But everyone enjoying every minute of it. I found a chair in the corner and tried to veg out there. I was still pretty sore but didn't want to sit still and not help get things ready. I should have taken advantage of the situation as the one time I had a free pass not to do anything and didn't.

Yesterday I talked Michelle into taking me to 2 stores. I hadn't had a chance to buy shirts for our family pictures that were suppose to happen last night but didn't long story... :( So Michelle and I go at 6:45 to Avenue and then to Old Navy. We really thought it wouldn't take too long in there. Yeah didn't happen that way. So on our way home some idiot and that is a nice word for them. Decided they missed there exit for 20 and cut across all the lanes of traffic (3 or so) on the bridge on cooper over I-20. We were coming over the bridge and of course with it being rainy couldn't stop and we ended up in an accident with the idiot who thought they could cut across the 3 lanes of traffic and not have and accident. You know you have seen them right? So me just having surgery on Wednesday night and now this.It jarred us pretty good. I ended up going by ambulance to the hospital. Let me just say being on a back board and neck thing on your neck. Yeah not so comfortable and very closterphobic I couldn't breath thought I was going to throw up. Even when they got me in the ambulance I was ok something isn't right here. I am going to be sick and I just knew I wasn't going to be throwing up in the air. So they said I could sign an AMA for the neck brace and back board. which I quickly agreed. I really didn't think there were any problems with my neck or back other than being sore. But my belly hurt like something fierce. So they let me out of that and I still felt super neauseated. On the way to the hospital the ambulance driver could see how many veins the hospital had blown and decided she would not stick me until all of a sudden in my daze. I mean I started to get light headed things started to spin and be weird my arms seemed extra heavy she jumps up and says what is your blood pressure normally? 120/80's why? Oh I didn't think you have a 66/42 reading. She quickly started an iv and started pouring in fluids. I think in less than 5 minutes I had almost a liter of fluid in me. When we pulled into the Emergency room they loaded me in and then rechecked my blood pressure and it was normal than everything stopped. The new nurse says oh she is stable now. Everyone leaves the room. Lets just say nursing there lacked certain things. Maybe being a nurse isn't a good thing. Although when my dad showed up he noticed things that he was oh my gosh. So it just wasn't me. A CAT scan, x-rays, and blood work and several hours later they discharge me with muscle relaxers and instructions to take it easy and stay out of cars for a while.

Can I say it is the most frustrating thing not to be able to drive. I am definately not used to it. I don't know what to do. I still am not thinking real clearly so paperwork is out of the picture.

Family came over last night for our get together. I think everyone had fun. We were suppose to have pictures done. But for one reason or another of course they didn't get done again. That just sucks. We should have done them whether we had people missing or not. Our family siblings esp. are very rarely all together. But what can I say. Some don't think it is important I guess.

Eve had Destinee and Hannah spend the night for her birthday. Malcolm and Cole had Dallin spend the night. Alex and Sebastian asked for Adam jr and he couldn't. They all had fun. I think too much fun. I finally this morning said ok. 5:40 enough with the noise. That was just the girls and Alex and Sebastian. Which it usually is Malcolm and Dallin. But not this time. I am glad they had fun. They went off to KB toys with Grandma a few minutes ago to go spend Eve's birthday money.

I think I need to stop for now. Oh My visiting teachers have more than earned there points this month. Thanks to them for all their help this month. They brought in a pie to check on me about the surgery only to find out I had the accident that morning. GOLD STARS FOR THEM>>>
