Eve's birthday....

In an hour Eve will be 12 officially. She had so much fun at church being in young women. That is so crazy to me... The day has been good. We woke her up this morning to give her her birthday gift. A Texas Longhorn purse. It is made from an official jersey into an purse. TOO cute... It was a find at the Cooks Hospital gift shop. We went to church and came home to start dinner. Hamburgers are her favorite food. She likes them very simple meat and bread and ketchup on the side. We had the fixings for everyone else and barbecue chips and sour cream and onion chips. She loved it. It was a great meal. We had family home evening after Michelle and Destinee dropped off her birthday gift. Dess brought her some fabric to sew a pillow and some ribbon for it. She was excited to say the least. It was pink with black poka dots. She loved it.

I am trying really hard to have family home evening every Sunday I had gotten lax lately too busy etc... But not anymore. They love to have it why not. Especially since we are told if we do then our family will be blessed. It was good. We talked about accountability. How to deal with turbulance in our lives.And how even with turbulance it gets smoother after it. If we make the right decisions. Then we decorated the Christmas tree for company this week. I gave them there new Christmas
ornament that we do every year. They had forgotten they had been with me when I picked them out since the store was going out of business. It was so funny. Malcolm got a dark vador,Cole received bart on a candy cane, Eve was the monopoly man with money, Alex had R2D2, and Sebastian a guitar. I got Fred Flinstone with his lodge hat and christmas lights. I need to mark who is who. I always forget and the next thing I know they are arguing over who is who.

Ok in church today they talked about holding a grudge. So I am trying really hard to not have hard feeling about Ramesus and his family even if they aren't very nice to me. So they came over for Eve's birthday to drop off her birthday gifts.Nelson is in town its his brother that lives in California. He is here with his girlfriend Melinda. So I invited them in and they are now visiting. Even though it is taking time away from our routine and it isn't like I can sit in there. So I am trying to be nice. So I am on here in the diningroom and get my mind off things. I need to be doing laundry and my paperwork. But this will be good right? Nelson and Melinda are always good to the kids when they come. Since the kids are with me this Thanksgiving it is the only time they will see Nelson and Melinda. Melinda just brought me a gift card for the kids to KB toys to use online to shop for them She said she got it at work and never used it. That was so sweet for her to do.

I hope eventually that it will be routine that I won't think twice about it. Maybe one day.

Well, this is going to be crazy week over here Taylor (my brother and his family) in town. So I am working hard to get patients seen before Wednesday and be done for the week.
