Funny thing!

So much has happened and alot to blog about but I am too tired. I did want to tell you what I had the opportunity to watch today. Sebastian did a me box at school. His teacher has it set up so whenever the parents can come in they present their box. So today I ran by there after seeing a patient.
This is the way it went. Sebastian shows his box he begins to explain his likes and dislikes he names his buddies etc... He begins to show his pictures, he shows the one of his whole family. Which is the picture of my whole side of the family taken at thanksgiving in 2006. Now he is 3rd grade and still some of the kids don't understand the having a kid that is mixed. Even though they see him with me they still haven't connected things. So he shows all his pictures and one he is sooo proud of his the one of him and his cousin Dalton after his baptism. Dalton baptized him this year. Dalton turned 16 the day before Sebastian turned 8. So cool. Since Dalton is his favorite cousin. Dalton taught him everything about football. And that is everything to Sebastian. Anyways, the kids in the class can ask him questions. So this is the conversation they had...
"Sebastian why is it that your cousin looks different from you?" Sebastian looks confused he looks at the picture and you can see him thinking... "what do you mean?"
" He looks different than you" someone in the class says he's mixed! ( you can hear the DUH!)
Sebastian looks again at the picture and goes " I was in the sun more!" Straight face funny as anything. He really didn't see any difference between his cousin and himself. That was his family and as far as he is concerned he looks just like Dalton. It was all I could do not to die laughing. Same with his teacher. It was so cute... SO INNOCENT! Don't you just wish the world was really like that.
