Happy Birthday Cole!!

Well the day has gotten by and I haven't had a chance to write about Cole.Since I wasn't at home on my computer the most recent picture is from his birthday 2 years ago. But man does it show his personality. The older one is from when he was I think 6 or 7. Wasn't he CUTE!
I hate that his birthday this year has been spoiled. I had very little time with him today due to the hospital situation. He was so good about it. But what was funny he was mowing the lawn when I got home from taking Eve to the Chiropractor. How many teenagers would be doing that. I just love this boy.
Today Cole turns 13!Seriously a true teenager. YIKES!
My list of 13 things I love about COLE!!!!
1. I absolutely love his contagious laugh! If you haven't been around him when he laughs you absolutely need to be.
2. Cole is the most even temper person. He very rarely loses his temper. However I can so see it in his eyes.
3. I love that he is willing to try anything once. I mean food, sports, games.This makes him a good person to have around.
4. Cole is my movie buddy. Has been for years. He is all boy always has been rough and tumble but he will watch a good chick flick with me. I love that time with him. In fact he was mad one time when Eve and I went and saw one and didn't take him.Now don't get me wrong he so loves his action, horror films.
I am just getting him ready for his wife. She will be one lucky lady.
5. His Smile even when he doesn't smile. You so can see him smiling in his eyes.
6. Those beautiful brown eyes and long lashes. What a girl wouldn't do for them.
7. I am so loving his dedication to school this year. He comes in sits down and starts homework without me saying anything. He is determined that he will be going to college on a scholarship and is making awesome grades.
8. This boy is SMART! And his coaches know it too. They have found that they can put him in any position and he learns it in a snap.
9. I love watching him play football. I only got to watch one quarter this week. But don't tell him I said this but he is so dang cute in his uniform. Him walking around like he's a tough linebacker. Which he is.
10. He has the biggest heart. He can tell when something is wrong. Especially with Eve they have become best friends which I think is so cool.
11. Cole has this ability to make any situation a good one. And make others feel comfortable.
12.I love how he is so comfortable talking to adults. He always has. His conversations usually start out. So, how was your day? He looks all serious and it totally throws the adult off. But he carries on his conversation with them with no problems.
13 ok since this is the last I will list even though I can go on and on... I love our 5 minute drive in the morning on our way to football. Neither one of us are true morning people but we have some good conversations.

I am so proud of him. He s a very special boy/teenager. I feel privilege to have him in our family. I love you Cole!!!!
